FEATURING:

Octigan Guitars

Octigan Guitars Warm Brown Front (Custom) copy 2 (1).jpg

Roderick Octigan is a boutique builder based in the East of Melbourne. Each instrument he creates is crafted by hand with absolute attention to detail. Using both Australian and imported tone woods,

he specialises in acoustic arch tops and caters for the discerning musician who is very particular in regards to the

tone, responsiveness, feel and playability of the instrument. His commitment to both the aesthetic and sonic quality of each guitar, combined with his love of creating them, means hundreds of hours are spent on each instrument and only one or two are completed each year.

Roderick has a small range of guitars and mandolins in stock to offer for sale but also does take orders for those who desire their own bespoke hand crafted arch top instrument made for them..

Black Diamond Cigar Box Guitars

CBG (1).jpg

My name is John Stax and I was the original bass player in the 60's UK band The Pretty Things. I now spend my days in my workshop building cigar box guitars.

I first saw someone playing one while on holiday in Noosa. I was immediately inspired to start making my own. Being a musician I have always had a keen interest in building guitars and had already made many acoustic and electric instruments. This was 2010 and I have not stopped producing them since.

I make traditional 3 string slide guitars as well as 3 and 4 string fretted using genuine cigar boxes. All are electric and have tone and volume controls and come with single coil or humbucker pickups.
